And then there's the discussion of "variables" and stuff, and here's where I'm confused. Because if they change the past so that the plane never crashed, then Daniel would have never gone to the island and never ended up in the 70s, and then never changed the past...meaning the plane would have crashed. Riiiiight. Also, if they do change the past, what happens to the Jack and Kate and everybody that's there on the island in the 70s? Do they just disappear, and end up in 2008 as if they've lived out the past few years of a different life? Or do they stay there on the island in the 70s because it's their present, and only the Jack and Kate that got on the plane in 2004 live a different life. But then that would be their past, and... Okay, I'll just stop. If anybody has a good explanation/theory, go ahead and explain it in the comments xD Moving on.
